Tim McLeod (Principal)

Tim started his career with Eliot Sinclair in 1995, and over the next 8 years played a key role as part of the Civil Engineering team at Eliot Sinclair. In 2003 Tim departed on his “OE” to gain some wider project experience, and over the next 12 years worked on a variety of infrastructure and mining projects in Australia, United Kingdom and Guinea, West Africa. In 2015 Tim re-joined Eliot Sinclair as an Associate and was appointed to Principal in 2016.
Tim specialises in civil and natural resources engineering associated with land development, roading, mining and infrastructure projects. His principal areas of expertise are the design of roadways, drainage, earthworks, retaining structures, coordination of utilities / underground services, and associated civil works. Tim is an experienced Project Manager and has led multi-disciplinary design teams on a variety of infrastructure projects.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys cycling, jogging and music, and likes to describe himself as an “aspirational gentleman farmer”.
